Helping through Clothes

Last night while I was in the kitchen washing dishes, Ron grabbed his chair and faced the 1 week load of newly laundered clothes.  While watching TV, he started folding the clothes.  We don't have a maid as Ver's wife, Rina went home with their daughter because Fiona has been having coughs. Seeing my husband doing wife duties, I am overwhelmed with happiness and let his machismo down.  It is not everyday that husbands do these kind of chores.  ;)

When we were about to sleep, happiness filled me again when I noticed the newly changed linens.  Halleluia Lord God for my husband.  I love him more everyday.

5.7 km HHWW

I have been telling Ron to exercise. We have been on the lazy side for almost a month now and we haven't been watching our diet for a while too. So I wouldn't be surprised if we have been on toll in the weighing scale.

Last night, a few minutes after our dinner, my husband got into his running shoes. I have never been excited and happy that I also got into mine. I thought we were just roaming around the village, when I realized, my husband heading to the national highway. Oh well, he is really up for the challenged!

So we walked the streets of Bacolod for one hour and a half, with a little rain, covering 5.7kms. This is just almost 3 rounds of the UP Acad oval whoch we have done a gazillion times yet it has been a while and our feet wasn't used to it anymore.

But I enjoyed every bit of it. Except for the thirst, I haven't heard of any complaint nor any turning back or finding shorter routes from Ron. We just held hands from time to time encouraging each other that the distance is just short and we have done UP before and we could do it again.

So just to share our route last night, I have some clips from the Google Map.

We started at our home at Cornelian St. then passed by Teleperformance (1.4km)

We walked along Lacson street until we reached East West Bank in Luzuriaga St. this is when it started to drizzle. another 1.8km for us!

We headed to Mandaue Foam via Gozaga St. At this area, rain started to build up so we have to stop in a shelter and waited for the rain to stop. 1km with so much rest!

We passed by Sharina Heights Subdivision and I was happy when we reached Bacolod City College, a landmark near our village. That's 1.5 km of HHWW.

And finally, 600m more and we finally reached our home.

We had tired feet but we had our bonding worth 5.7km!!!!!! we are surely gonna do this again! Yehey!

The Love Account

Another blog!?!?! Yikes! So what is this for? I know, this will be a mush but then, I just want to pencil, or should i say, type, my daily dose of love. It may be in the simplest forms, or the big surprises, or just being together.

And everytime My love bucket gets filled, There is an equivalent amount to be deposited in the Love Account. because I know, I would soon be a millionaire if I do this. 😘

So bear with me if I leave another online trail as this is my perfect way to just have lookback when I reach the future.

Note to Self

Dear In Love Regina,

Keep on writing daily events of how you felt loved by that one person God has blessed you with to spend the rest of your life. This is your reminder of the joy and happiness sprung from a relationship that has been tested by great trials. So that when you both are in an unhappy circumstance, try to read back on these memories of how you have fought for this relationship for so long to reach that far. When you both are troubled, call upon the Lord and perhaps open a page of your life with him, and maybe, just maybe, you will find the reasons to your questions of Why?

Why do you love him? Why do you care for him? Why does your soul fit?

Fill each page with love and honesty, so as you look back one day, you will understand the reason of love's mystery.

Love,

Reg
